My love for dance started when I was a child and has continued through every stage of my life. Over the years, I grew through classes, summer camps, performance opportunities, teaching, choreography, and the belief that dance can create confidence, connection, and belonging.

While living in San Diego, I worked as an educational interpreter and created an after-school tap program that grew far beyond its original structure as more students became interested, connected, and wanted to be part of the community we were building. What began as a small opportunity developed into a meaningful space where students could move, learn, belong, and take pride in something they helped create together.

Post-COVID, finding myself in Defiance, Ohio, I wanted to recreate the kind of space I had built in San Diego — a place where people could move, learn, connect, and feel part of something. That purpose helped shape the heart of this program: adults deserve a welcoming space to try something new, return to something they once loved, and experience dance without pressure. Whether someone is brand new or coming back after years away, my goal is to create a space where dance feels accessible, joyful, and community-centered.
